Dave Galloway Hendricks County Sheriff
Motorists are urged to …
ü Allow extra time to get to their destination. ü Check the weather forecast to be prepared. ü Make sure your car is in good working order with plenty of fuel. ü Check your tires, wiper blades, lights, and battery. ü Consider a trunk kit consisting of a flashlight, jumper cables, blanket, and shovel. ü Keep your windows clear of snow, ice, and fog. ü Use caution on hills and in ruts. ü Watch out for icy spots on bridges, underpasses, and shady areas ü Always wear your safety belt. “Winter weather doesn’t cause crashes, but not using caution can lead to dangerous results,” said Sheriff Galloway.
